About Frantz

We’ve been helping Norway hire since 1957

We started by placing newspaper ads in Nordlandsposten. Today we build AI-driven technology that targets job ads to the right candidates, based on how they actually behave online.

How we work

Three principles behind everything we build

Technology changes. The convictions behind it have been the same for nearly seven decades.

01 Data before opinion

Facts beat gut feeling

Which channels reach a nurse in 2026 isn’t something anyone can answer without data. We let 90 days of actual candidate behaviour decide, not assumptions.

02 Channel neutrality

We don’t sell ad space, we find candidates

We own no media channels and have no incentive to push budget toward one place over another. Channel selection is governed solely by what actually works for your type of role.

03 Norwegian-first

Built for the Norwegian labour market

A global tool doesn’t understand the difference between DOFFIN and Finn, or why public-sector hiring follows different rules than private. We do.

The heritage

From newspaper pages to behavioural data

For nearly seven decades we have done one thing: helped Norwegian organisations connect the right people with the right jobs.

The methods have changed, from typographic placements in Nordlandsposten in the 1960s to programmatic ads on Facebook, LinkedIn and Norwegian news sites today. What hasn’t changed is the conviction that a job ad needs to reach the right reader, not just many readers.

That conviction drove us when we picked newspaper pages based on editorial content and audience. It drives us now as we build AI models that identify who actually reads job ads in your industry.

From the 2000s we refined our role as a media agency specialised in targeted job advertising. Today Frantz is first and foremost a technology company, but we have never forgotten that technology is only a means. The goal is the same as in 1957: the right candidate sees the right job.

Location

Built in Northern Norway, delivered nationwide

Our headquarters have been in Bodø since 1957. It’s no coincidence that Northern Norwegian technology is building a national recruitment platform, close to a labour market where good hiring isn’t a luxury but a precondition for things to work.

Our customers are located across Norway, from Riksrevisjonen and DNB in Oslo to municipalities and health authorities in the north.
