SVP HSSEQ

SAR is looking for an inspiring and results-driven SVP HSSEQ to lead their efforts in health, safety, environmental, and quality management. As a key member of the executive team, you will shape and implement strategies that ensure SAR continues to operate at the highest standards in HSSEQ, while driving continuous improvement throughout the organization.
In this role, you will maintain and develop a strong HSSEQ culture, leading a high-performing team of experts, and working closely with cross-functional departments to align operations with regulations and internal objectives. You will be responsible for external relations with relevant authorities and stakeholders. Your leadership will be crucial to ensuring SAR maintains its commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record from similar roles, ideally from a related industry. You have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of safety and quality. You understand the importance of compliance and can navigate complex regulatory landscapes while driving operational improvements.
To succeed in this role, we believe you will need:
- Extensive experience in HSSEQ leadership, preferably within industries like waste management, oil & gas, or industrial services.
- Strong expertise in quality management systems and safety standards, with relevant higher education in engineering, technical fields, or equivalent.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to engage and inspire teams across different professional backgrounds. Experience from executive teams is beneficial
- Full fluency in Norwegian and English is essential.
